It once was that cracking the 500 horsepower mark was war and peace achievement on this planet of tuner cars designed for the trail. Now there’s a good number of tuning firms willing to build anyone with the money–and the cajones–cars competent at developing approximately and exceeding 1,000 horsepower.
Just yesterday we got a 1,026 horsepower upgrade for the 2012 Chevrolet Camaro ZL1 from Hennessey, and before that any of us saw Underground Racing unveil a wild kit to the Audi R8. Now Harold Martin Motorsports has announced that it’ll be bringing its new Martin V1000 Cadillac CTS-V Coupe to next week’s SEMA show in Sin city.
Featured from the CTS-V Coupe, though offered for the CTS-V Sedan and Sport Wagon, the Martin V1000 package consists primarily of your supercharged 7.0-liter V-8 engine swap. One more output figures appear in at 1,000 horsepower at 7,100 rpm and 900 pound-feet of torque at 5,500 rpm.

Other modifications incorporate a custom intercooler setup, a discreet but completely functional bodykit, a chrome steel high-flow exhaust system, and 22-inch wheels.
Harold Martin promises full dyno testing with the kit, in addition to performance amounts of 3.5 seconds for that 0-60 mph run along with a top speed in excess of 200 mph.
