The 2012 Buick Verano will commence at $23,470, including an $885 destination charge, when it goes on sale later this year.
The Verano undercuts the 2011 Acura TSX and 2011 Lexus IS 250, and is less expensive than a loaded 2011 Chevrolet Cruze LTZ with the RS package. The Cruze LTZ with all the RS package costs $23,670, together with a $750 destination charge.

The 2011 Lexus IS 250 RWD starts at $35,340, including an $875 destination charge. The 2011 Acura TSX sedan starts at $30,495, including an $885 destination charge. Buick says it is targeting the Acura TSX and Lexus IS 250 within the rollout with the Verano.

The top-of-the-line 2012 Buick Verano starts at $26,850, including shipping. All purchases get the 2.4-liter four-cylinder engine mated to your six-speed automatic transmission.


Verano standard features include leatherette seating, a 7-inch diagonal LED display and 10 airbags. Other standard features include automatic heating and cooling, remote start, power windows and tyre radio controls.
